Why guests will love it

🎉 Something to do, not sit through

Guests wander over on their own. Nobody’s trapped guessing the melted candy bar or checking their phone under the table.

🖍️ No craft skills required

If you can hold a marker, you’re set. Draw something, write a name, or just sign it and call it art. Grandma and the eight-year-old both nail it.

🧱 It outlives the cake

Most shower stuff is in the trash by Monday. These end up in the nursery instead.

How to throw it

  1. Set out the blocks. Wooden blocks, a fistful of markers, a little sign on the table. That’s the whole setup. Took us ten minutes.
  2. Guests decorate & sign. Each guest grabs one block and makes it theirs — a name, a doodle, a wish for the baby. Five minutes a person. Nobody’s being graded.
  3. Keep them forever. When everyone’s headed home, the blocks stay. A toy now, a keepsake later. Nothing to throw away.

When the party’s over, the blocks stay

First as a toy. Then as a memory of everyone who showed up for your baby before they’d even arrived. The blocks sit stacked on the nursery shelf — something to grab and chew on now, something you’ll find years later and not be able to give away. One block, one person who loves them. That’s the whole shower, sitting on a shelf.
